Residential Volunteers

Kitchen Volunteer

Kitchen volunteers will provide support to the Kitchen Coordinator in maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen facility. Volunteers assist with meal preparation for breakfast, lunch and dinner for residents as well as food prep and delivery for Day Hospice and luncheons provided for additional Hospice programs.  The kitchen is the 'hub' of the home, as in any family setting.

Residence Reception Volunteer

Our Residence Reception volunteers have a desire and or experience with greeting the general public and being a liasion to family members and guests visiting Hospice.  They guide individuals to the appropriate room, area, event or staff person.  They assist with incoming phone calls and front reception inquiries.

*Direct Support Volunteer

Trained and educated volunteers assist the professional staff in the direct personal care of our residents.  They provide their time, physical support and compassionate nature directly at the bedside of our residents living with us.

*Additional and specific training is required for various volunteer roles
