Care

A compassionate community providing hope, care and unconditional support.

Since 2005 St. Joseph's Hospice has been serving the community as a Resource Centre for terminally ill people as they face their illnesses and support programs for people who are caring for or grieving the loss of a loved one.

What is Hospice Care?

Compassion

Even the little things can make a big difference.

St. Joseph's Hospice Sarnia-Lambton must raise $1.6 million every year to continue providing compassionate care at no cost.  A gift to St. Joseph’s Hospice makes a direct impact on the lives of those living with a palliative illness in our community, their loved ones, caregivers and the bereaved.

Face to Face Campaign

Face to Face Campaign asks 100 people to ask 10 of their friends for $10. This helps us reach our goal of $10,000. The money is used wherever the need is greatest. Won't you help us?

And her answer was, “I hear the Hospice is a very nice place.”  From the moment of our arrival I knew that her answer to Dr. Kim’s question was an understatement indeed!

If you were asked to describe St. Joseph’s Hospice Sarnia Lambton in one word, what would it be? ‘Supportive’? ‘Comforting’? ‘Compassionate’? Ask the family and friends of Wendy Hughes, and their response might be ‘healing.’
